Another Pearl-bordered Fritllary...

After another strimming session early in the morning, some of our fruit bushes have become accessible revealing them to be laden with fruit -particularly the gooseberries. If you are ever offered a job as a gooseberry picker, i would be very careful about accepting it. They certainly fight back as my hands and arms now bear witness.
Yet more Scrabble in the afternoon for Tricia and this time in the local bar. It would have been churlish to have gone there to pick her up and not had a beer or two,
