Neither Here Nor There . . .

When the sun's shining and the snow's gleaming and the temperature is minus 20C, it's great to be alive, even if you need five layers of clothing, thick mittens, a woolly hat and a snow blower to survive the day. On days like today, it's not so great: the sky's dull, the grey snow is turning to slush and it's barely freezing. So, here you are - a barn in a field not quite covered in snow - the great Canadian Winter has given us a miss. So far . . .
