Out for the evening

A lovely meal out with friends.  C showed us round her garden, into which she has already put a lot of work, and with much more planned.  B cooked us a very tasty paella.

It was wonderful (and unexpected) to meet V, who has moved away from the area, and had a baby, but who just happened to call in today.  

How fortunate, after a pretty wet spring, that we had picked the best day of the year so far, and were able to enjoy a meal on the patio.  We must do this more often.
