Low tide at Lynn!

At the Fisher Fleet. The channel runs off to the right to join the river Great Ouse which flows north towards The Wash and North Sea.

Alot to take in here, the former jetty gradually destroyed by episodes of severe weather, the tidal excursion of a few metres - see the tide marks opposite, and the system of classifying fishing boats taking the first and last letters of the home port and a number. Blyth BH etc, Lynn LN etc.

The boats can only get in and out a short time either side of high tide.
