Festival Too 2018

An annual event in King's Lynn, opening with an impressive firework display centred on the west bank of the river, most of the crowds were in the town opposite.

It's a bit of an art trying to photograph them, you want a fast shutter speed to freeze movement, manual focus otherwise the camera hunts and is too slow for the action, negative exposure compensation (- 4 stops on this one) to darken the sky and not let the bright sparks burn out. Much trial and error to begin with but I got there in the end - before the display ended!
