The rich neighbours

We folk at the canoe club always feel like the poor relations to the infinitely more glamorous sailors. Apparently we have now been bypassed by the school who feel that sailing is a more worthwhile ‘sport’ than canoeing/kayaking. Oh well. I am not sure I would get as fit sailing as I have kayaking, and anyway I don’t think I mix in the right circles!
