A Lovely Lass on the Lord's Day

We see quite a few blue herons when we're in Florida, but it is a rare sighting when I see one in my Michigan. Although this lass (?) was hiding behind some reeds, she did sit still while I took about 30-35 shots. 

Nice to see the big bird of blue,
she posed for me...and then she flew.
