The Grey Float on Canada Day

Haven’t you missed seeing this annual event on blip?  :-)  Well,  it’s July 1 (Canada Day!..152 years old!)  and not the end of May as usual, when we finally had some able bodies (neighbors across the bay and dil to launch the rowing float from the beach at the end of the bay.   .(I had to put the camera down and tug on a rope a little)

We don’t really need it anymore… the rowing boats we use will launch from the dock.…but what to do with it?   3 pieces to put back together and wait for the tide to float it.  (extra, and safely floated to its spot.)    Maybe this will be the last year…. some of them hope so too. :-) and suggested ways for it to disappear… ha.   We do always appreciate their help!  They are great helpful neighbors.(she and I used to row the double and the quad...but no longer...)
