This is Air Traffic Control...

And you are cleared for landing.  Do you hear me?  Get down NOW!

Okay, I know I just posted a pair of copulating syrphids a week or so ago, and I know some of you may not like the bug porn...but how could I resist this?  Clearly, these two daredevils had to be blipped.  And let me just tell you, in my experience, macro lenses are not all that great for locking focus on things in flight!  

Speaking of things in flight...this morning there was a stunt pilot doing aerial maneuvers in a small plane way up high but in fairly clear view from our front porch.  We stood outside and watched him do loops and flips and wing-tips - very cool.  Of course, I had to grab a camera and try to get some shots.  Truthfully, he was too far away but I still got some fun shots.  I'll put one in Extra of him flying upside down. 

Had a really nice long chat with my parents this morning.  We had to fill them in on our adventures over the weekend in the RV and also hear about their weekend at the big geocaching event.  I can safely say that good times were had by all!  

Back to the gym this week.  I hurt my back last Monday (too much incline on the treadmill) so only got two days in last week.  Need to get back to it this week.  

Had a good time in the garden today chasing down little things for TinyTuesday (and thanks to Osuzanna for hosting).  My other favorite little thing from today is a tiny long-jawed orbweaver, which you can see HERE on Flickr.
