Vineyards Everywhere

Another busy day but not many miles - kilometres - progressed. We have visited several places along the a Mosel valley - all beautiful - and managed to find a ruined castle; not helped by roadworks blocking off access roads.

This blip when we were driving off a bridge sums up the area with vines covering the hillsides like a patchwork quilt.

Then we located a great viewpoint for a huge meander of the Mosel - spectacular views which meant climbing up a tall tower, having already climbed a steep hill and hampered by a pro photoshoot of some business men!!!! I tutted and frowned but that photographer has a living to earn and could do without pretentious tourists!!

Reasonable m/h site tonight which seems fairly quiet. There are sites everywhere and so many m/HS on the roads around here.
