Here's little Lucy age 3 1/2 chopping rhubarb. Yes it is a big sharp knife but she was being closely supervised. Last time, her mum tells me she did cut her finger a bit and she is now extra careful!
She started off cutting nice small pieces and after a couple of stalks the pieces got bigger until she got really fed up and ditched the knife, just broke them in half and flung them in the pie dish, then the last few ended up whole stalks on the top and she ran off to play :-D
