Or maybe we’ll simply call them weeds. Admittedly the wild flowers do add a welcome touch of colour, but to my mind they are still weeds and brambles that need tidying.
The dilemma is that although they are against the border fence to our back garden, this side of the fence is not part of our land. So do I take matters in hand and clear them myself before they start spreading through the fence?
The one good point is that their presence has temporarily put a stop to visitors to the area next door parking so close to the fence that they push against it.
