Happy little home

Didn't quite manage to get a picture today of us doing anything - so I've settled for one of the gite. It looks a bit of a mess..... you can just make out the husbands feet if you try hard... 

Quieter day today, it's been really hot - too hot for us and we've all been a bit crotchety as a result. We ended the day at the local swimming pool, which is a really good pool!  We had to buy the husband a new pair of swimming trunks as he  only had 'baggy' ones.... we slipped the boys in with their swimming shorts and banned them from any water slides or jumping into the pool as they were supposed to be in speedo type shorts.  The lady on reception only re-affirmed my book about how the French raise children by her comments about the youngest being carried.  The husband and I are still cringing at her comments. 

BBQ this evening,which was a bit of a disaster,  the burgers I'd made were off (we'd hoped they would somehow improve with cooking), so it was a steak sandwich instead, which actually the boys loved. I'm still reeling from the smell of dodgy burgers...
