We're Going That-a-Way!

We headed over to Bishop's Castle to support friends taking part in the 32nd running of the Tandem Triathlon tend each year at this time.

In the past I've taken part which involves one half of the tandem team swimming 1,000 metres, then a 23 mile bike ride, followed by the other team member running a 10K cross country.  It's competitive, but also taken in good spirit with various fancy dress entries and a range of competitors from teenagers to septuagenarians.

Here Mark and Jen are just starting the second circuit of the bike ride, overtaking other competitors.  Jen seems more intent on acknowledging the crowd, while Mark is obviously focused on the road ahead.  I just think they're both very brave taking a hand each of the bars.
