Weight loss journey - a week of consolidation
Starting weight (25 May 2018 = 273lb)
Today’s weight = 183.0 lb
Average weight last week = 184.7lb
Average weight this week = 184.3lb
Weight loss this week =0.4 lb
Note: I weigh every day first thing and calculate weight loss based on average weight for the week.
Well as expected it was a week of consolidation of the last 2 weeks of weight losses of nearly 2lb a week. I had expected worse and even a gain as daily weights had shown gains for most of the week. I only managed to turn this around, and am able to post a loss of 0.4lb for the week, by being super active in the gym on Friday and Saturday mornings and being super strict with diet yesterday.
It is disappointing to loose less than a pound as you always want to loose significant amounts but a loss is a loss however small it is and I had expected a standstill. Next week will also be difficult as today is the only day my weight has been less than last Sunday’s. I am only ounces away from gaining the FitBit 90lb weight loss badge so my goal for next week has to be to further consolidate weight and gain this badge. To achieve this will require no let up in terms of diet and exercise and resisting the temptation of allotment new potatoes with butter, oatmeal, parsley, fennel, spring onions and mature cheddar cheese
