Despite the awful weather we headed into town today for the kids to get a shot at the fun rides before everyone pack up in January. Fortunately, the weather was pretty good when we were on the big wheel, and only a bit damp when the kids were trying out the rides. There was a big hailstorm, but we were cowering inside a tent at the time so survived. Unlike last year, the kids actually wanted to go home before we ran out of money for rides.

This subject was working at one of the booths. Obviously wrapped up for a lot of standing around in the cold. She saw the preview and rather nicely said that she normally doesn't look good in photographs. Or maybe she said she doesn't look good in this photograph... I was wearing a big woolley hat that covered my ears at the time.
