...the tree!

Just outside Lichfield Station is this remarkable cycle lane. I think you can see what's meant to happen but still, it makes me smile every time. 

Took the train as I didn't have to be in the city until 11am for my meeting, so the train worked if you have the patience, but it's still better than driving. There are two options from Loughborough, which are, deep breath:

Loughborough - Derby - Tamworth - Lichfield

or...

Loughborough - Leicester - Nuneaton - Lichfield.

I did the former out and the latter in reverse to return but got off at Leicester and rode home.
