Mini adventure, day 3: Hills and vistas

I miss the days when signs said 1 in 4. I didn't need to work out what 17% or 14% or 30% meant. Anyway, I had no trouble understanding what 25% meant, in both directions. Usually the pleasure of down is tempered with a corner and braking.
After the half way point which included these views (including the cake) and others like thrushes using the road as an anvil, lifting lapwings and much huffing and puffing. The roads eased into delightful rolling and the speed picked up and we reached the station with 20mins to spare.
