Happy Birthday Darling Fin

Today is my nephew's 8th birthday. We started the celebrations with a little bit of drawing at the museum. I joined in and felt inspired by seeing my mum and Alice having a moment together and then had the luxury of nearly an hour working on my drawing while everyone else explored.

Alice stayed still for about a second and mum was following her, hence the under-worked figures. But, I managed to respond to some of the museum architecture and, well, it was just nice to make a drawing, albeit a quick one.

The studio at home is now ready and I have to make sure it gets used...let's see what 2013 brings. Maybe an exhibition.
