Pine Needles

Felt a little fragile today after last night's exploits. There's nothing worse than a hangover when you're looking after a baby in the morning - the early start, the crying, the nappies, the toys with the flashing lights and jangling music. It was enough to put me off doing it again for a while that's for sure!

After a greasy breakfast, caffeine and fresh air, the world looked a better place. We even managed a walk to the swings in the park with Audrey (my husband pictured to the left of the shot).

This afternoon was all about ridding the house of Christmas. Despite loving Christmas, I reach a point every year when I need to clear the decks (of holly - boom boom). Out went the tree, decorations up into the loft and we spent the rest of the day sweeping pine needles from our floorboards!
