Open All Hours!

That's how it feels at the moment, opening every day to catch a bit of holiday time trade. So I went into work today but the town was quiet, there doesn't seem to be so many people around as this time last year. The austerity measures are really hitting hard here, well for lower income families.
So this is Roaring Water Wholefood shop, named after the bay here, where I work and so does my daughter Rachel until she heads off to college next year. We sell organic foods, local seasonal veg. good quality supplements, organic wines and toiletries and a few gift items. I've continued to stock organic produce as it's something I feel passionate about and at a time when it's easy to feel disempowered, it's a small stand I can take.
As to whether or not we can make it through the recession, only time will tell, the next few months will be quite critical. I do feel open to new possibilities, so we shall see. I think the shop front needs a lick of paint, any colour suggestions?!!
