mongoose monday

had to make a quick trip to the southend sea life centre this morning to update our membership cards - never a hardship though when you get to spend time with the animals! And thankfully we arrived before the expected 300 school children that they were expecting today! IF you're wondering why schools are empty this time of year, they're all at the beach!!

Was lovely to see the rescued macaques all looking so well now they've settled in, and also to see the yellow mongoose (what is the plural of mongoose?! mongooses?! mongeese?!) who was intent on watching over the penguin enclosure next  and watching passing planes overhead!
