Wintry ...

This is what I love about living here - every day is different! I arrived at my usual walk in the midst of a quick blizzard in a temperature of just 1'. My middle, 4 yr old, grandson B joined me today - it is fun having specific one to one time with each of them - and initially he wanted to do the same things as his elder brother but the elements proved too much for him so there was no tree climbing today. Instead we ploughed through slushy mud and drew our scarves and hats closer trying to keep warm while the dogs happily romped in the snow! I only took the camera out of my pocket twice and this shot was because B was intrigued as to how the snow was beginning to accumulate in slushy style, hanging below the wire of the fence. I actually tried to focus on the heavy droplet but it didn't work and quite frankly the conditions were too poor to spend time messing around with different settings. Once home though, I rather liked the shot I did achieve.

The rest of the day has been spent happily and busily with the family. With three boys under 6 it is all go, and as time with them is precious I know you will forgive my current lack of comments. I also apologise for the rather lame title but I am a bit too tired to be imaginative!
