Not what we went to see

We went to visit some friends today, primarily to see their garden, whilst dumping on them some of the stuff we have cleared from our garden!

The garden was lovely, stuffed full of all sorts of interesting plants, including several quite unusual ones.  There was a pineapple guava or feijoa that was flowering beautifully (see extra), and a tree with wonderful blue hanging bell flowers.  And also a pseudopanax.  Any or all of which I would love to add to our garden.  I think we need a bigger garden.

But after we had spent time looking round their lovely garden, we were invited up into the loft to see "the other collection".  A huge selection of Santas of all shapes and sizes, of which this is a small sample.
