I spent an afternoon splitting a large clump into pieces this spring, and replanting.  Subsequently, they took a while to get going, and we thought we might have little action this year.  But in the end we've had a good showing.  This is the last flower standing - all the others have been and gone.  We've been dead heading them, so hopefully they'll have another go later in the summer.
