Parc Life
Back in those days, we all lived in poky apartments in the 18th and the 19th. But we all met up in one of the parks with their fountains and formal gardens. Eating, drinking, playing and talking.
Nowadays, many of us have left the city and all of us have houses and gardens of our own. We don’t need to hang around the park or along the banks of the canal. We could still do that, but we don’t.
I miss the days when we were forced to enjoy the communal pleasures of Paris.
