JimBob is in the House!

We actually brought him in a couple of nights ago. We're having some cold fronts moving through this bit of Florida and temperatures have plunged. Won't be for long, and our plan to keep him as an outside dog moved to "we'll bring him in when he smells better" (his condition creates an odor), to "the temps are too low for our conscience, and he smells only a fraction as bad as he did".

There you have it. Although the heater in the workshop was working as expected, we just couldn't keep him outside. He wasn't cold, but it wasn't right either.

So we brought him in and he's been better than expected. Still a handful though, still a massive puppy, and still needs lots of supervision. He even gets put to bed at at 9pm like a child, and he has to settle down and watch tv at 8pm (eg underneath my feet).

Cats don't like him. They're camped out in our bedroom.

And although he's not meant to get on the sofa, he does like to cuddle up with me (and my wife if I'm not around). Seriously, a 60 lb + dog wants to be a lapdog.

The washing machine is starting to go into overdrive as he drools all over us now continually.
