There Is A Liner Out There ......... Somewhere
It was more than a little moist this morning and (after I removed the thorn from his paw) PD went far enough to do his business and have a few sniffs and about turned and headed for home.
SWMBO removed one of Squirrel's teeth yesterday and I wasn't feeling up to taking a picture ….. so I took one this morning) before we took her and her brother to South Queensferry so they could choose a piece of pottery and paint it before having it glazed and fired.
We arrived and it was foul. You couldn't see half way across the Forth when we arrived and it was a wee while before the shape of the cruise ship began to appear.
As the mist began to lift it revealed the rain filled clouds - which of course tried to empty themselves at PD and I headed out for a (shortish) walk towards Hound Point. Even the trees seemed to be crying.
The only thing that seemed to look happy was the ivy which was shining brightly against the wall.
I took four pictures of the bridges and the clouds filling the view, stuck them together and converted it to black and white …… it seemed apt.
12 hours after first leaving the house with PD and it is still raining - what a great summer's day!
I had a warning light come on on the car's dashboard this morning which relates to the exhaust emissions. It is the build up of particulates not burning off. The cure is to do a run of about 20 miles above 50mph.
We came the long way home on the motorway. It didn't cure it. So I phoned the garage and arranged to take it in to have it checked on Friday. Needless to say the warning light went off after we had dropped the kids off at home three hours later.
