Little visitor

How cute are baby Plovers. I heard one of the parents making a fuss on our front lawn and spotted two of these little fellows running around. One little guy got himself bamboozled and went through a crack in the fence palings and ended up lost in the rock garden in our side yard. We let mum/dad in to try and coax him out but the silly bird couldn't find the baby even though it was chirping. A. ended up picking him up and putting him back out the front. The other parent was over the other side of the road so the tiny little thing managed to get across without getting run over - but for how long I don't know. The other parent stayed in the front yard making a heck of a noise making sure we didn't follow.
