Cherryburn

Today's outing was to Cherryburn, the birthplace of wood engraver and naturalist Thomas Bewick. But instead of showing you a photo of the cottage, I'm treating you to a picture of a young alpaca with a groovy hairstyle! We were told there were some alpacas in the field next to the cottage, but were initially disappointed when we couldn't see them. A couple of minutes later their heads all popped up from the long grass and stared at us! :D
