In our thoughts

It was difficult to know whether to tell Anya about her friend, Ethan’s Mummy. I had told her that she had been very poorly before and she had mentioned that Ethan had been feeling sad.
Today after school she decided to collect some flowers to give to Ethan as “his Mummy has gone to heaven and he’s very upset.”
I didn’t question it, I don’t necessarily believe in heaven but it’s not my place to tell Anya what to believe. She did ask how people get to heaven and I said it was a bit of a mystery to me.
