Cough cough

I spent most the day in bed trying to recover from a cold that I have developed over the last couple of days, in preparation for the drive back to London from Manchester. My cute yet mischievous cousins repeatedly came to visit me, playing with the things in my room until I got nervous enough to get up to see what they were doing. In this picture they are shouting "Merry Christmas!" outside my room.. They then went on to sing, or rather scream, Christmassy songs, claiming to be carol singers, which was rather cute. After a while I ushered them to one of my aunty's rooms to sing to her at her door, distracting them long enough to discreetly slip back to bed (the good part about not being a parent ;-).

I welcomed the interruptions from the kids and love them to bits, even if the screaming and general hyper ball that they become when together, was a bit much when ill! Too bad they're not a bit older or I could have got them to make me cups of tea :-)
