From Odeceixe to Aljezur

Lovely breakfast sitting outdoors on the dining room patio with the Americans. Then we packed up and said goodbye to Monte and hope to return again.

First of all we had another coastal walk and then drove to our favourite beach for lunch then we drove to Aljezur.

The host of the rental property had been lax in contacting me with details of how to get in to the property then she arranged to meet us at the petrol station at the bottom of the hill at 3pm. She didn’t turn up and sent an e mail with details of how to access the property. When we did it was a big disappointment! Smelt damp like it hadn’t been used for a while. The bed was past its best and there was a general smell all round. The outer areas were all overgrown and tired outdoor furniture. We went for a meal and then when back we looked for somewhere else on line for the next two nights. We decided as it was the last few days of the hols it wasn’t to be spoilt by staying in a dive.

I put out the diffuser we had bought in Granada to mask the smell in the bedroom :-(
