Copper: deuxième partie
Yesterday there was no way of knowing what my gorgeous little butterfly was exactly as he refused to show me the underside of his wings.
Today however this Large Copper was more obliging, and is (I think) even more stunning from this angle.
We had a wonderful wander into the beautiful Val du Bérard, the wildflowers were amazing and the butterflies everywhere. Its always a treat to see the wild lilies so a Martagon and a St Bruno make today's extra.
It's turned cooler which also helped and we made good enough time to have an excellent late lunch at the Hotel Buet in their lovely gardens, something of a summer tradition for us when we visit this area.
