Rainbows in the Sky

I had my final physio appointment with Annabel this morning, and unfortunately after an appointment with my consultant yesterday it looks like I will have to have surgery on my shoulder.  I have an ultrasound scan booked for 2nd August as he wants to have a look at what's going on with it, and if it hasn't got any worse, I'll have another injection to try and calm things down.  I'll then go back to see him on 8th August to discuss the next course of action.

After physio, I drove over to Kate's for an outing to Eastbourne to see the Towner Art Gallery which has been painted by German artist Lothar Gotz to mark the building's tenth anniversary.  The geometric artwork encompasses all three sides of the building and is called Dance Diagonal.  It's an amazing piece of art and looked particularly good against the bright blue sky - you can see the full building in Kate's blip.

We had a quick look inside the gallery as it's free, but there wasn't really anything that interested us - the outside was much more impressive!  Then we had a stroll along the seafront and had a picnic on the beach and before heading home we went to a lovely cafe and sat outside.

Back home and Xena and Joren have just gone to the beach for a swim, I'm getting ready for Zumba and Alan is going to his shooting club so we'll all catch up later.

Thanks Kate for a lovely day again x
