Lugano

A trip down memory lane for MrsS who came here years ago on a business trip with a Swiss bank. We walked along the flashy main pedestrian street which has all the upscale stores you will find in Bond Street. Such an elegant city. I fancied buying a pair of trousers from the Zegna shop but they were £800 so I gave that a miss.


A boat trip was in order and so we cruised around Lake Lugano for a couple of hours calling in to such sweet little villages, one of which had a boutique hotel which looks just perfect. Perhaps on another trip. The photo is another of these picture perfect hotels.
 
Slumped in an armchair back in the hotel I watched the thrill of the Tour de France mountain top finish. Blimey, that was a bit steep.
