Pass

 
Leaving Morcote on spectacular Lake Lugano, heading north to Alsace.  To go over St Gothard Pass or through the tunnel? That was the big question. Yes No. An extra half an hour driving over the top or 12 miles of two way traffic through the tunnel. At the last minute I opted for the tunnel which was probably just as well because it started raining.
 
Now at Obernai and a second session of sauerkraut. Wont have any for another year.
