Sempervivums

These little flowers are on some Sempervivums in the garden and I thought they'd made a suitable subject for Flower Friday. This morning I was taken out for tea and cake at Folly's in town by G & M, what a treat! This afternoon was obviously spent watching the men's semi finals at Wimbledon. Actually I'm thinking of today as Fererer Friday - what a cracking match between Federer and Nadal and what a win by Roger. Such a shame that that wasn't the final. 

Fingers crossed for Serena to win tomorrow, which would be nearly 20 years since her first grand slam and equal Margaret Court's record of 24 overall grand slam wins. Fingers crossed for Roger to win on Sunday, which would equal Martina Navratilova's record of 9 Wimbledon singles titles and increase his lead as holding the most  overall grand slam wins for men at 21 (although not as many as Serena). Who'd have thought we'd have two 37 year olds in the singles finals!!!
