Start as you mean to go on....

....that little saying plays on my mind a lot on New Year's Eve. So I rushed round today and cleaned and tidied....changed sheets...took Chester on a long walk (once it stopped raining) ...marked a load of books....caught up on the phone with various people...made a new appointment to give blood ....sorted the pile of post in the hall...and prepared food for our guests this evening.

Now let the new year begin!! I am ready (well once I have had a shower) ;-)
