Mallow

I stopped at the National Trust's Polesden Lacy for some lunch and a walk, before continuing to Mum's for the weekend.

The Rose Festival was still going on, but many of the roses are now past there best. The Lavenders are in full bloom and there was a persistent hum around them as the bees and butterflies enjoyed their nectar.

The bees were busy in other parts of the garden, and I spotted this one covered in pollen from a Mallow plant growing in the Long Walk.
