Best Campsite Ever!!

I love it here!!!! I think Chateau Martragny is my favourite campsite in the world!! I've just seen that it as exactly a year ago today that we first came.
After a busy few days sightseeing we had a lovely relaxing day at the campsite and exploring the village.
Pastries, baguettes and jam for breakfast (chocolate cereal for the Little Misses!); cycling round the site; fishing in the pond - Miss E managed to get the fish off the hook herself this year and was very proud of herself!; swimming in the pool, jumping in the pool, diving into the pool, screaming and giggling by the pool, reading by the pool.
Later in the afternoon my mum, dad, Mr K and I took the dogs for a walk around the village and out across the fields. We discovered a lovely old ruined windmill in the middle of a wheatfield which you could go inside. Very atmospheric!
Then there was a bit more lounging around until it was time to go for dinner at the restaurant in one of the old barns. Suprême de poulet for me (so much cream!!!!) which was delicious!
The trio of small puddings - Eton mess, tarte tatin and crème brûlée -  tipped me over the edge and I had to be winched back to my bed.
What a fabulous day!!
