"DIDN'T THEY DO WELL?"
Well the weather was not what we expected and in fact I felt quite cold when we arrived at Yeovilton Air Day.
Fortunately I had taken a rain jacket for Matthew and he was glad to wear it. But I only had a light cardigan thing on. Eventually the clouds weren't so heavy and the wind eased so it didn't feel quite so bad.
As you can see there was still plenty of clouds but it didn't stop the wonderful Red Arrows doing their super flying stunts.
My camera was playing up for some reason so all the helicopter captures weren't as precise as I needed. But Matthew managed to find his old book friends Mr Shea who we have seen so many times he greets us as old friends. Matthew only bought two books as they were quite expensive but he seemed happy enough.
Fish and chips of course and a glass of cider so he was well chuffed.
It was wonderful not having to drive for hours to get home and we enjoyed a lovely BBQ later with our new neighbors.
All in all a good day. Hope you're all enjoying this weekend with love ones. xxxxx
