Learning to do new things

For the first time I ordered a print of one of my photographs - beyond the calendars I made last year. This got me thinking about higher resolution Milky Way pictures, which requires stitched panos. Today I practiced making panos in Photoshop.

When I bought my computer, used, in 2014, the previous owner had carefully wiped everything but the Adobe software. I take this as an act of revenge on Adobe for switching to a subscription model. It means though that I have an old version of Photoshop (no Lightroom) that is daunting. YouTube, however, is filled with wonderful people who create videos to help you do things.

I took the Milky Way at Assateague. I took the picture of Apollo II at the Smithsonian a couple of years ago. It cheered me up enormously, given the horrors of the world, to make this.
