Allium

Or is it Alliums?

I’ve spotted these on my visits to the Royal Infirmary to see my aunt.

They were in fill bloom when I first saw them but I was in the bus or car and could not stop.

Today I walked (40 minutes) and was able to capture them. Even though the bloom has gone the structure of the plant provides interest.

Also visited great friends of my parents to have a chat. Then tackled the garden while keeping an eye on the glut of sport.

My brother and his wife came round and we were beck in time for the conclusion f both Wimbledon and the Cricket World Cup. Great tenacity by England and the most thrilling of endings. A loud cheer went up!
