On the buses

Our main car benefitted from the 6 month extension of MOTs but with the opening up of garages we thought it was time to get the service and MOT done.

Our garage is out at Newbridge to the west of the airport so it was round the bypass during what would have been rush hour. Normally the bypass does not run at 70mph.

Good physical distancing in place but no waiting opportunity. So back home on the buses. First trip in nearly 4 months.

Everyone wearing face coverings and buses on time. The centre of the city seemed quiet. Shops open but footfall and traffic seemed light.

This view is of South Bridge, normally a bit of a bottleneck.

Car (eventually) passed its MOT and we collected it mid afternoon. In the intervening time I spent a while setting up the trickle system. Trials now underway.
