Holidays!!

I went to stay with my old friend C1 in her home town of Hamburg. 

Up at 3, no Skylink bus because of a crane being reversed onto Waverley Bridge, blagged a lift in a taxi with a young couple, airport by 4:14. Through security by 5, plane left at 7. Landed at 10:00. 

C1 then whisked me off to see the river by ferry and walk back to the Planetarium where we watched a wonderful 3D show on the planets and (in German, which is a language I am not very proficient in). 

Home for a lovely meal. 

Then I collapsed into bed exhausted. 

It is so good to see my friend again.
