Oban from Pulpit Hill

We are in Oban! I did take a photo of my waffles with strawberries and cream at the Oban Chocolate Shop (one of my favourite stops) but I liked this overview of the town.

Poor Susie, who is travelling in another boat, had to have her tooth out today! Poor wee traveller! Not a thing you expect to happen on your holidays. She’d been experiencing pain since we were in Islay so I recommended a trip to the emergency dentist today. Thankfully she got an appointment at noon but had to return a few hours later for the extraction - not the dentist’s choice, but she said she had to get her head around actually losing the tooth. :(

Tomorrow may have a few more sunny intervals, but from Wednesday it’s dreich, dreich, dreich!

We’re still heading northwards, hoping to get to Fort William at some stage. Unfortunately there’s no marina there nor a lot of moorings for visiting boats, but we’ll see how it goes...,
