Burrastow

A calm and warm day, but humid with mist hanging over the hills.  Sunny in places, and now a bright sunny evening.

I've had the day off work, and a lazy morning around the house.  Mam popped along for lunch.  Met up with friend Julie, and we headed out west for a walk with the dogs.  My early shift in the pub, and it's been quiet with the fine evening.  Walkies with Sammy, before getting my feet up for the night.

Although it wasn't over bright out west, it was still a fine walk.  We walked along the road, passing Julie's old childhood home, and headed down to the sea.  This is looking over the beach and towards the Burrastow House.  The house was built in 1759, for the Henty family.  It was originally a Haa House, and later extended in the 20th century.  It's been a hotel since 1980, and fairly popular.  Taken at Burrastow, near Waas.
