Filskit Calves

A calm day, but still misty.  It was drizzle showers this morning, cleared a bit in the afternoon, another shower at teatime, dry but misty tonight.

I've had to take a day off work today, this pesky cold has never left, and got worse again overnight.  It's been over three weeks now, and still not cleared it.  Saying that, I am feeling better again tonight.  It's been a fairly boring day, sitting about the house, feeling sorry for myself, and daytime telly.

Feeling better this evening, and poor Sammy was desperate to get out of the house, so we headed out for a quick walk.  Sammy was delighted to be out sniffing, catching up on today's gossip, and then these fliskit calves appeared, scaring Sammy out if his wit.  Being young and playful, they were charging around the field, showing off their running and jumping skills, which Sammy just hated.  They finally calmed down, when they ran out of field, and the fence kept them back.  Taken below Houlland, up the Berry Road, Scalloway.
