An early start at the market

I got up early to make an early start in the market before the heat rose and before it got crowded. I was back by 10 in time for a meeting at the Mairie. Lots of planning was done for the September festival. We should have visiting French and English dignitaries to celebrate the Entente Cordiale and the blessing of the bells. The weekend will also include a picnic in the park with lots of activities, English menus in the restaurants, dancing performances, choirs, English cream teas, bell ringing and much more. Tonight there is a village badminton tournament which should be good fun.
